The bullpen was terrific, as was Dusty’s use of them. That was the perfect spot to use Raley, and Dusty put him in a spot to be successful. The Sox have some good left handed hitters, so Raley is going to be an important piece of the puzzle.

I changed hats and moved inside. They scored four runs.
Imagine saying this on here about 3 months ago. You would have been slaughtered for the mere suggestion that Raley might play a role in the ALCS.
We’ve all piled on a Raley, including me. But he has a place as a niche reliever. You just have to limit him to those spots. This was one.
