A fuck up? He said he is ready, but he is not?
They send him out on rehab assignment to Round Rock and he played, what, two games? The Skeeters were off last Wednesday and Bregman drove to Round Rock but then they gave him a scheduled off day on Thursday. What the hell? Then they want to check in with him on Sunday/Monday so he doesn’t play at all either one of those games, let alone tonight. Seems like a waste of potential playing time if he’s healthy enough to play.
The only way this makes sense is if he’s actually not physically ready and worse off than they’re saying and they knew they were going to need another 20-day rehab period so they just used this week to buy extra time instead of having him play and then need another five day break to reset that 20-day clock.
