A’s @ Astros, August 12, 2022

Wow, that’s GM speak for “fuck this guy”

Oh, I’m pretty sure they’re not paid during the suspension. But that won’t come close to covering what this is going to cost the Padres.

Yep. It’s definitely a shot across the bow at Tatis, Jr. Time for someone to grow up.

T6:

Brown flies to shallow LF
Murphy grounds out 6-3 on the first pitch
Pinder…0-2…1-2…2-2…strikes out looking

That’s the inning I was looking for, Luis!

6-2 Astros

He was chasing PED dealers in the desert to keep them away from underprivileged children.

One of the little ones wandered in front of a bad guy’s dune buggy.

Tatis raced ahead and made an impossible jump, landing just in time to scoop up the child to safety.

As he was riding off one of the baddies threw a vital of clobestol which shattered on his wrist, resulting in the fracture and a completely involuntary absorption of the foul substance.

Wasn’t expecting him to be able to get thru 6 after the way he started.

There’s lots of baseball to play, and this is the A’s.

Here’s a Tatis link

Strom told us we’d be in good hands.

Given the number of times we’ve seen Garcia, Urquidy, and Framber bounce back from shaky innings he seems to have been correct.

Altuve…works the count full…flies out F8
Gurriel grounds out 4-3

Double play, please.

Double play, NOT double!

T7:

Machín flairs a single to RCF
Bride doubles down the LF line, Machín to 3B

And that’s it for Garcia

It is without pay

One-hand double

It’s like putting away The Terminator

Bolt, pinch hitting for Stevenson, doubles off the LF wall, Machín scores, Bride scores
Allen grounds out 3U, as Yuli has to sprint to the bag because Smith was uninterested in covering 1B, Bolt tom3B
Piscotty, pinch hitting for Kemp…0-2…1-2…strikes out swinging

And that’s all for Smith

These guys are pissing me off.
