The fact that the finding out has begun in earnest and we’re still two months from his inauguration is both hilarious and frightening.
As votes continue to be tallied (mostly just in California at this point), Trump’s share of the vote has fallen below 50% for the third election (out of three) in a row.
During Trump’s first administration, the agriculture industry in California worked with our (Democratic) senators to negotiate a compromise with ICE that the agency would give 24 hours advance notice before conducting any inspection or raid. I don’t know if that’s possible given the tenor of this incoming administration. But I can say that this issue is something the industry spent the last several months considering and planning for.
Team Trump has plans to declare a national emergency and deploy the National Guard (at least) to start rounding up people. It doesn’t sound like they will be amenable to any kind of “gentleman’s agreement”.
If you wanted a single photo that perfectly captures how Trump demands absolute fealty from his underlings, it’s RFK Jr. being forced to eat McDonald’s.
I also appreciated the visual of them all at the UFC fight pretending to enjoy the over hyped and fake testosterone filled “Ow! My Balls!” Presentation that is the UFC.
Trump is literally that child that showed off his toys as a kid by making you play with them and compliment them.

Vance has CLEARLY been sidelined by Trump. It’s really not even subtle.
Right now Trump is emboldened by the electoral landslide. He thinks he can get Matt fucking Gaetz a job. (To his credit. He absolutely will.)
He’ll gleefully appoint whoever the fuck he wants to any position he wants. He’ll fire whoever the fuck he wants, too.
