Holy fucking shit! This is batshittery that is beyond comprehension.
A Jewish community fun run/walk event in Boulder in support of 10/7 victims was the subject of a terror attack.
This country is eating itself alive.
What, and there is no way to stress this enough, the fuck.
For the next few years, whoever gets hit is on their own.
Hell, even the Carolina Hurricane have a season.
Certainly not conference finals season, but a season.
Florida weatherman assisting in the finding out stage.
Trump is said to recruit from âcentral castingâ. Why does it always seem that the call went out for someone to play a small role but be instantly identifiable by the audience as a complete fucking arsehole?
6.1M Floridians voted for the cuts to NOAA and itâs National Hurricane Center. None of these cuts are a surprise. 4.3M Floridians voted against this kind of stuff. 3.2M Floridians were apathetic enough, even in the dynamic of the last election, to not vote and get what they get. The rest are unregistered for any number of reasons and get what they get as well.
I have no time for people saying now âI didnât vote for thisâ, with âthisâ being whatever the latest Trump-induced disaster is visiting someone.
You did vote for this. This is what Trump said he would do.
Yes but a shitload of people there voted against this, is the point.
I certainly donât need to link it as itâs all over the news, but get out your popcorn buckets! I think the Trump/Musk feud will really start now. Of course and like always, itâll just be a distraction from the truly horrible things that are actually happening.
Right, itâs like being happy for bad things to happen to large swaths of the population of Texas for the same reasons. I just canât truck with that mindset.
I have no qualms about individuals learning a lesson.
Musk isnât wrong, but I canât believe that isnât just performative to try to get people buying Teslas again. None of this happens if he doesnât bankroll Trumpâs campaign for the entirety of 2024.
In other news, Marjorie Taylor-Green is complaining about shit slipped into the âbig beautiful billâ that she âinadvertentlyâ voted for (i.e. she didnât bother to read it) and now wants the Senate to strip out.
In an election year, this disarray would be useful. Now if just lets them continue to get away with the doing the damage theyâre doing.
Iâm tired of reading about Musk, but when you say âhe isnât wrong,â what do you mean? The short blurb I saw was Musk saying the bill was an âabomination,â which I understood as âuntil you cut enough government to balance the budget, Iâm against it.â Basically, just the old GOP tune where they only focus on spending, and never revenue.
Did they cut any of his government cheese?
Yeah, they did, but upon further research, his criticisms werenât specific to EV subsidy cuts, just non-specific language about bankrupting America.
His brain is drug addled, and his info is fed to him by sycophants. Can he really discuss anything cogently?
Musk calling the bill an abomination is correct. Pretty much everything else he said is still wrong.
Rand Paul said that the explosion of the deficit is now owned by the GOP, and I agree with that too.
They say politics is a circle, and Trump has spun us around so far that we are bumping into arseholes like Musk and Paul.
Itâs quite a thing.
Who are we talking about?
