6.1M Floridians voted for the cuts to NOAA and itâs National Hurricane Center. None of these cuts are a surprise. 4.3M Floridians voted against this kind of stuff. 3.2M Floridians were apathetic enough, even in the dynamic of the last election, to not vote and get what they get. The rest are unregistered for any number of reasons and get what they get as well.

Musk isnât wrong, but I canât believe that isnât just performative to try to get people buying Teslas again. None of this happens if he doesnât bankroll Trumpâs campaign for the entirety of 2024.

Iâm tired of reading about Musk, but when you say âhe isnât wrong,â what do you mean? The short blurb I saw was Musk saying the bill was an âabomination,â which I understood as âuntil you cut enough government to balance the budget, Iâm against it.â Basically, just the old GOP tune where they only focus on spending, and never revenue.
