She had been in ICE custody for 2 1/2 months, had been complaining of chest pains and apparently her blood pressure was spiking. They gave her some pills and told her to lie down. Later she was found dead.

A woman who had been in ICE custody since February died Friday at the Broward Transitional Center in Deerfield Beach. Marie Blaise was 44.
This is a for-profit detention facility. This lack of duty of care should get them sued into oblivion and/or their contract cancelled, but I suspect neither will happen.
