End of five…12-1
Diaz with a leadoff infield single.
That’s what, four of the six innings the Astros have had the leadoff hitter on?
Singleton caught looking. Because…no need to swing the fucking bat.
This game should be about 4-4
Box score still showing only two errors for the Astros, even though at least three have been scored that way, and another two should have been.
Caratini caught looking. Again…why bother.
Dubón with a single
At this point the score could be 2-1 and Los Stros would still be in trouble.
Gamel walks to load the bases for Dezenzo
Dezenzo with a 2-run single
And that’ll chase Martinez
Chas with an RBI knock
Whitcomb flies out on a pitch in the dugout.
Middle of six…12-4
If you’d have told me this afternoon that the Astros would end the sixth inning with 7 hits and 4 runs, I’d have taken it.
Hoping Whitcomb and Dezenzo have acknowledged that they need to field 500 groundballs/throws a day from Nov-March.
Three runs an inning from here on out, and they can claw back into this one.
Leadoff double
End of six…12-4
Caratini has pitched 3 games in his career, FYI
Best contact he made was on an early FB that was 6 inches outside and he drilled it straight back
