At this point of the season, why would Astros have 19 games left vs AL West ? Schedule seems a little wonky ?
Mariners have 7 AL West games left and Rangers 9
I guess we can go earn the AL West over the next 4 weeks.
It is a byproduct of having an odd number of teams in the division or the powers that be in the universe hating the Astros. You decide.
How about the powers that be hating the Astros and putting them in a division with an odd number of teams (three of them on the West coast, no less) to prove it?

The schedule is what it is. If the Astros win the majority of their games, everything will take care of itself. If not, they could be sitting at home come October.

Astros are guaranteed a winning season with their 82nd win. With 11 games remaining in the season, I guess it will take 88 or 89 to get into the postseason and perhaps 89 or 90 to win the division.
Can the Astros cobble together seven more wins? Will six more wins do it?
Just win 2 out of 3 and take your chances.
