The closest any Astro got was Jeremy Peña who came in third at AL shortstop.
This sucks for the players. But, gets a chuckle out of me. Think what this does to the other team players psyche. No “all stars” as the Astros march towards 100 wins and their umpteenth playoff appearance in a row. It’s part 1b of living rent-free in their minds.
I think the Peña one is easy, since he’s injured: name him to the team, and then promptly name Neto as his injury replacement. Or does the “every team” guy have to be “legit” (i.e., not injury replacement)?
Kikuchi is starting to come around, but he was pretty weak for a lot of the first half. He’s got a 2.81 era, but a 3-6 record. Jo Adell has flown under the radar for the Angels, but he’s pretty consistently been as good as the Angels have had this season.
