I wonder if Campbell regrets leaving those 6 points? I’m sure he’ll say no.
I haven’t watched too many Lions games this year, but literally every game I’ve seen has featured some stupid ass decision making and a loss directly attributable to it. Just brutal.
What an absolute train wreck of a second half for Detroit.
As a neutral, it’s probably better that Detroit shit this bed and not the one in two weeks time.
Still, I’d be smashing furniture for the next hour or so if I was a Lions fan.
Up 24-10, late in the 3Q, driving, chance to go up three scores when stupid took over. Two minutes later, it’s tied.
Imagine being Lions fans who actually lives in Detroit.
Or watch any of the Mad Max movies. Same thing.
Campbell was Dave Roberts stupid tonight, yet I somehow feel sorry for Lions fans.
What I’ve heard from most Lions fans is they didn’t expect to make it this far, have more hope than ever, and have their Michigan championship merch to cry into.
I do too.
They’ve put up with crap teams, good teams who crap the bed, crap management.
And now they had their hopes raised, justifiably, only to get a self-inflicted sledgehammer to the sports privates.
In addition to feeling sorry for them I’m ecstatic that it’s not me (this time).
I get that. As a Texans fans, my team was way better than I thought they would be, and I’m optimistic about the future. But the Lions could have/should have made it to the Super Bowl. This year. They had a team good enough, and that was a winnable game, which they should have won. No way I’d not be disappointed.
Yes.
There’s a difference between there’s hope for the future and oh my god we were definitely there but blew our chance in a laughably horrible way.
I was wondering why Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift don’t have a portmanteau; then I realized, it would be “Traylor”.
There’s a reason why he’s the only one who does it this way.
I like that Campbell is unconventional. I like that he’s a gambler. But there’s a difference between “daring” and “stupid”, and a wise man knows it. Campbell apparently doesn’t.
I’m not sure if I’d be more pissed as a Lions fan or a Ravens fan. Both fan bases have suffered too long to watch their teams piss away easily winnable championship games.
When you’re up, the other team is desperate and you leave points on the field, that’s stupid. I thought he learned when he kicked the FG late in the 2nd.
The Ravens banner is from 10 years ago. The Lions banner is from (404: object not found)

Stolen from somewhere: “Taylor Swift made it to the Super Bowl in her first year in the NFL”
Yeah, that totally escaped my mind. Kept hearing about how long it had been since they had a Championship game in Baltimore.

And you’re up big. You had a chance to go up three scores mid-3Q. Five plays later, you’re tied. Nuff said.
