2024-25 offseason

How many roster spots do they get? Can they buy those, too?

Turning MLB into La Liga is certainly a choice…

Seems like where we’re headed.

When do we get to start buying transfer players?

hahahahahahhahahaha

It’s a good thing baseball randomness is on another level from soccer randomness

Santander to the Blue Jays

Only because the Dodgers didn’t want him.

The Dodgers get whoever they want. As many of them as they want.

They can have all the Josh Fieldses in the world.

Per Espada, the Astros are still talking to Bregman.

So you’re saying there’s a chance?

Yeah, and there’s a chance he’ll start hitting before June. But neither of those is a good chance.

Although highly unlikely, I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to Bregman coming back. What do you do with Paredes if he was to come back? See if he can play in the outfield? Trade him?

I don’t think I’d trade anybody right now; I think the market will be hotter as we get near the deadline. They would both be under club control for quite a while, which would make them more valuable than the usual rental.

I think you’d try and trade him for a legit OF first and if that doesn’t happen then you run him out to LF as much as you can in ST. If El Caballo can play LF I’m fairly confident Parades can too.

If you can play 3B, you can play LF. It’s the easiest position on the field.

Left field in the ice box is third base.

Paredes is only 26 and has played all 4 infield positions within the last 2 seasons.

He can play LF.
