If Bregman signs with Detroit, we will see an example of how a home stadium helps/hurts a hitter.
Actually,15 in the Dome, 22 on the road.
He hit one literally on the road in Cincy.

Evidently the Yankees are offering “crap” for Tucker.
I do believe Tucker is gone. I don’t trust the “Braintrust” to make a good deal however. I want to be very wrong about my assumption.
What reason have they given you to think that?
I get it. In most businesses it is much easier to make wise decisions looking at things from outside and following emotional biases. Data and insider knowledge just complicate things.
Brown seems to have lost the confidence of a lot of fans and OWAers but his additions in season this past year were pretty darn good.
None except! As DEVO pronounced, Gut Feeling.
Reading this thread I’m reminded that Crane is both cheap and stupid. I guess I can give up hope of the Astros being competitive under his ownership.
Genuinely curious what the current braintrust has done to warrant this opinion. If this is about the Kikuchi trade, that was to address an area of need and Kikuchi delivered.
I’m very curious to see what happens, since this is the first time in a long time that the Astros have been “sellers”. But I have no reason not to trust Brown.
I wouldn’t even classify them as “sellers”, more like “dealers”. But hey…we all know they’re not serious about winning.
I know Soto got $765M but why can’t Crane extend Tucker for like 5/100? Also Bregman should take a hometown discount of the league minimum.
I’m guessing because Tucker has let them know he wants no part of an extension unless its 10 years and a gillion dollars.
Sarc. Meter.
Or even betrer to ask why won’t Tucker take 5 years $100M.
No caffeine yet
They offered him $9. That’s all ol’ Ebeneezer Pennypincher is willing to part with. Now he’s gonna trade everyone for a box of ball and paddle games. Typical. We all saw it coming.
