I’m puzzled as to why Urquidy wasn’t in the game. I would think Verlander could have given us an inning to get us to Neris, Abreu and Pressly as well. France was completely lost out there and it was obvious. No way should he have threw another pitch when he loaded the bases. What a terrible letdown.

The pitching is being managed like a ST game. France is not ready for this. A 7th game is all hands on deck. Maton pitched 2/3 of an inning and was gone. Two rookies followed while veteran pitchers watched. Bitch all you want about no SF, but terrible pitching and pitching mismanagement lost this game.
