The entire offense minus Alvarez were killers at some point tonight, as was Framber. Abreu left a lot of guys on base early, Brantley grounded into a double play late, and we all know what Dubon did in the eighth inning.
None of this matters.
Tomorrow is all that matters right now. They can do it. Just win ONE FUCKING GAME at home.

The problem Iāve got here is that the Astros are fucking putrid at home.
I donāt expect great Scherzer, but I do expect 3+ black holes in this lineup, because theyāve been trotted out every game in the playoffs so far.
I hope like hell Iām wrong, but itās hard to see the Astros scoring enough to win tomorrow with a shutout.
Iāll take a 1 run lead after the 27th out.

Tucker is one of the black holes right now. Which is a big problem. Heās freaking bunting with runners on 1st and 2nd, nobody out in the sixth inning.

Iād love to see Diaz in the lineup but Dusty aināt changing now but we need every bat we can get and at least Diaz has caught Javier before. After his hit Friday night I was hoping for an earlier pinch hit opportunity but alas, Maldy waddled out there in the 7th. Who knows what might have happened had Diaz gotten the opportunity and a knock.
Iām like you and fear a repeat of 2019, which would be a cruel irony to be the only team to be involved with a 7 game series in that fashion, and be on the wrong endā¦twice.

Dusty is not going to put his nine best hitters in the lineup. Heās just not. Heās doing it now out of spite. One or two guys are going to have to make it happen and you have to hope for a career game out of Javier. If the Rangers score more than two runs, forget it.

Iām hoping there is someone who can be this yearās Aledmys Diaz and show Tucker what is wrong with his swing mechanics before tomorrowās game like he did with Yordan before game six last year.

In their last 27 home games, the Astros are 7-20 and been out scored 146-105. Yes, itās gonna take a miracle.
A competent manager would have had Diaz catching Verlander and Framber at least once down the stretch but Dusty would rather be right than admit his approach was wrong. Diaz should have had at least two dozen more at bats this month than heās had so now even if he does start or PH late no idea what weāll get.
We do have enough fire power to take it tomorrow and weāll see if thatās enoughā¦we certainly need the invisiball tomorrow from Javier.
Or!! Dusty āunleashes the Krakenā and JF-fucking-K plays left field and backup catcher tomorrow.
All kidding aside, this his lineup tomorrow should be fascinating. But it wonāt be. Itāll be exactly what you expect and if they winā¦ nobody gives a shit. If they donātā¦.? Nobody gives a shit.
