I knew what you meant. He still had hope at the time. That is the franchise that two of the best ever at their positions Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson retired early because they had lost hope.

I guess the NFL finally got what they wanted. After five duds last week, at least three of the games this weekend ended on a go-ahead FG as time expired. And this last one looks to be a good one too.
One has to imagine they’d be pretty darn happy with the Rams playing the Super Bowl in LA.
You’d think Goodell has a massive erection with that thought. The lack of football in LA was a huge hole and black eye on his office’s leadership. He needs it.
Right now, I don’t see SF or LA beating either of these teams. The bengals maybe.

LA’s a bandwagon town for sure, and their ratings increased this season, but both the Chargers and Rams were in the bottom quartile in hometown TV viewership this year.
