It’s the right call, but it feels like one of those “did the runners foot come fractionally off the bag?” replays. If we’re going down to the pixel level, shouldn’t the call stand?
Not when it’s clear the call was wrong. I don’t disagree about ticky tack replays, but when you have pixel level replays, you have to go with them. You can’t say “yeah, it was the wrong call, but it was really close, so we’re not gonna overturn it”.
Yep, it was the right call. Can’t blame Akers, it was a great play by the Bucs to strip it and he was probably more concerned in that split second about not breaking his neck.
