I never said I would intentionally walk him. But, I definitely would pitch him carefully. He’s the hitter I most fear in the Twins lineup, especially in big situations.
And, yes, I blame that inning on Baker. He’s getting way too cute with a bad bullpen. Urquidy never should have been pulled, and he should have foreseen the odds of Raley facing Cruz were much higher than anyone liked.
