Gold Glove Finalists:
Notes:
Astros finalists: Yuli, Correa, Tucker (yes, Kyle Tucker is a finalist for the Gold Glove)
2 CWS catchers and zero Machetes are Finalists
No Grienke; steak of 6 straight broken

No Machete is a shame.
In the NL, I saw where Yadier Molina is not a finalist and he is royally pissed about it. He claims it’s racism against him, and apparently Johnny Bench is behind it.
Even the Pro Bowl is more meaningful than Gold Gloves
I read somewhere that they would be using a statistical based method to determine things this year since play was limited geographically.
So Yadi’s real beef is with math.
Great player, great career, will not miss him at all when he retires. What an asswipe.
Am I correct in saying, in that statement, Molina is referring to him self as some sort of sandwich?
Yeah, that’s exactly what he’s saying.
'Yadi led the league in almost all offensive categories, including neck tattoos."
It does sound intriguing:
No Yadi, no Machete…math must really hate Puerto Ricans
Electoral votes must have been in the formula.
First thing Trump and math have ever had in common
Awk-ward!!
Christian Javier is a finalist for AL ROY. Nice to see him on the list but he will likely finish 3rd behind Kyle Lews & Luis Robert.
Framber 11th in Cy Young voting with one 5th place vote.
Gerrit Cole and Dallas Keuchel 4th and 5th respectively.
Springer T13th in the MVP voting with two 9th place votes.
Teoscar finished 11th.
And speaking of MVP voting, perhaps the BBWAA should continue to rethink which writers are eligible to vote for these awards given this…
Cardinals writer says MVP vote for Cubs’ Tepera was meant for Trea Turner
I have only the vaguest recollection of Rick Hummel. And i certainly didn’t remember the 74 year old writer was a recipient of the Spink Award (13 friggin’ years ago).
