2020 ALDS Game 4, A's @ Astros, October 8, 2020

Will someone go tell him to fuck off.

I didn’t link his tweet on purpose.

And Astros twitter was all over him.

What a douche. Hope no one tells him about Santa.

Laz took turns giving strikes off the outside edge to both teams.

Stanton is a strong MFer btw.

I believe I saw this is the first time an MLB team has been in the LCS 4 years in a row since the '98-01 Yankees.

I had forgotten about them. Is there a more forgettable 5-year dynasty stretch that that? (they won 100 games and lost in the DS 1 year)

If we didn’t love Machete before today, we definitely do now

I told him Astros fans did not care. Is that OK? I try to be ladylike.

You don’t have to ask me twice.

The Astros have been a really good baseball team the last four seasons. These reporters and fans of other teams need to get it through their thick skulls that their success isn’t due to cheating but having a really talented roster. Also, all of the crying around baseball about the scandal is hypocritical. I have a bridge to sell anyone that believes the Astros were the only team in the 2017 postseason that was doing whatever they could to steal signs, including having someone monitor the video feed in the clubhouse. Heavens knows the Dodgers had their own elaborate scheme with how much they rely on analytics on a game by game basis, and the Brewers suspected them of sign stealing during the 2017 NLCS. The Yankees and Red Sox were popped for it earlier that season. In 2018 or 2019, video couldn’t be used to steal signs any more and the Astros made the ALCS and World Series, respectively.

The biggest joke in the entire thing is that the Red Sox got caught doing it twice, and Manfred let them off the hook while hammering the Astros.

Heyman was a beat writer for NYY for a time. That makes anything he says bs.

Same with Olney.

The whole cheating business coming to light was a godsend for these cretins. Can’t accept that a motley team of guys rolls in to New York City year after year and kicks your ass? Well, take heart. It wasn’t that Chapman can’t fucking throw his fastball for a strike so the little Venezuelan guy (who through most of his career has managed to hit like a lunatic at home AND on the road) knew to sit on a slider. Nope, not that. CHEATING!

I’m a fucking incompetent idiot who fucks everything up in every way and at every opportunity so everybody’s going to vote for the other guy because THE ELECTION IS RIGGED!

It’s exactly the same bullshit from exactly the same thick necked Howard Beach motherfuckers who think Elmer’s Glue is a delicious condiment.

He made history w/ his 2nd HR in the game…

Entering today, Michael Brantley of the @astros had 1 home run in 30 career postseason games.

He is the first player in MLB postseason history with multiple HR after entering the game with 1 HR or fewer in 30+ games.

I found the internet anger to be a little more tepid than I expected. The Astros are just going to have to win another series to get the rage flowing properly.

Most of that garbage was destined to be short lived.

People are always looking for their daily cup of outrage.

The rest can wipe their tears with the Dodgers 2017 championship t shirts.

Buster held up the Yankees as a team built the right (non-tanking) way. Non-ironically, mind you.

And a for Chapman, go back and watch just Altuve’s AB.

2 FBs nowhere close. Then a slider in the middle of the zone, breaks from outer half to inner half.

Altuve takes it for a strike. Smoltz says “good pitch”, Buck agrees.

But was it good. It started and finished over the plate, around belt high. If Altuve was keying in he certainly takes a hack.

The moneyball was almost the exact same pitch, this time it started off the plate. Even Yankee bootlicker jomboy thought he’d throw the slider.

And Jose blasted that shitty pitch into oblivion. Gave him back to back offspeed pitches in his wheelhouse.

Fuck the Yankees.

Around the 14 minute mark:

The Raup boys in Section 130something said during that AB: “He can’t get his FB over; sit on the slider.” If we could think of it, chances are Altuve could too. Remember he had just walked Springer with up and away FBs.

Man, the play of the game was Brantley’s diving catch and doubling off Judge to end the 7th. Never get tired of watching that.

That would be around the 9:50 mark in the video above.

You may have missed this little detail: Fuck the Yankees.
