If Greinke can’t go, you’re already looking at a bullpen game for a potential Game 5. That sort of means James or Garcia. I’m guessing Taylor would try to close out tomorrow. Urquidy needs to go deep tomorrow.
Javier may have to pitch relief tomorrow. The bullpen game may be Game 4. James could really help if he would step up.
A ten-spot would help.
I prefer James out of the pen than starting, but yes, him stepping up would be huge. I’m assuming Javier would start Game 4, but if you get a chance to end it tomorrow, Dusty may well throw the plan out the window. Lots riding on how Greinke feels.
