BTW…a buddy of mine who’s a beach bar singer in Florida, had one of those metal top Martins that came out a while back. Bought it for just that reason…was always playing on the beach, hot summer nights outdoors, etc. He said it was worst fucking guitar he ever had.

I will say that I haven’t bought a guitar in a long ass time.

I did that kit guitar thing last year, mostly just out of boredom and to work on my setup skills, and it kind of gave me the fever. I might try my hand at a more polished finish and complicated build.
