2020 ALCS Game 7, Astros @ Rays, October 17, 2020

I can hear folks cheering in my neighborhood.

Margot:

Ball, called strike, swinging strike, swinging strikeout

Bats, bats, bats

He was nails in relief in Game 7 of the 2017 ALCS, but other than that, he’s not been a big game pitcher.

Let’s grind at the plate and get these runs back, Astros’ offense.

Let’s show them how we can put up crooked numbers.

I’ve gotten like 12 texts from friends in Tampa.

Need to get that one back now

And hold them there. That’s all they can get the rest of the game.

His command is just too hit or miss for games like this. He gifted Margot first base on the first pitch of the game and just hung a breaking ball to Zunino after being ahead in the count.

Just need good ABs. One after another.

He pitched well enough in game 3 of the WS.

He was a freaking mess in game 7.

Reddick:

Called strike, ball, slow roller to Choi.

That’s four extremely weak rollers

Bagwell no doubt agrees.

That ground ball by Reddick barely had enough velocity to roll 90 ft.

Poor old Josh. He is just not a MLB hitter anymore,

Maldonado:

Called strike, called strike, swinging strikeout

Yep, this may be it for him.

Fuckballs.
