World Series Game 4: Astros vs Everyone

Tucker got two hits with no one on. With runners on, he did nothing.

Wasted Greinke’s courageous outing. Unbelievably poor hitting.

2 games there for the taking.

Very 2021 Astros not to oblige.

Framber starting?? Who knows what we get.

But they sure wasted a great start by Zach.

Not gonna happen. They’re going down with the ship Bregman torpedoes.

They aren’t scoring 3 more runs much less win 3 more games

Wasted a great game yesterday.

If you had told me this in advance of Game 3 I would have bet many monies that you were wrong.

Knowing Dusty, I’m sure you are right. But, even he has to realize Alex is an automatic out right now.

Tucker’s the kind of hitter who extends leads or puts up numbers when the outcome is not in doubt. I labor to remember hits which changed leads in recognized clutch opportunities

I understand your point. However, Tucker is one of the few Astros’ hitting. It’s Yordan, Brantley, Correa, Bregman and Yuli that aren’t since the series moved to Atlanta. Altuve has been on one game, off another.

Need somebody to go full Mark Grace and troll the team hotel lobby…for the greater good and all.

I doubt it will, but weird things happen in baseball sometimes.

It’s pretty fucking obvious that Atlanta has figured this out.

Watch that doughy prick Peterson dancing around makes me lose my dinner.

Is there seriously nobody in the whole organization that can say “hey guys Bregman ain’t getting it done we should put Yuli in that spot” ?

@jnh thanks for the PBP.

Emotions are running high, but you held your shit and just called it as it was.

Bregman has to be moved down in the order, or someone has to press the issue. Frankly, production is missing everywhere

There is no fucking way Dusty realizes this. He will point to 2018 and say “Bregman is one of our biggest run producers, has been for a long time”.

Well, they’re not hitting fat pitches…

He hasn’t done it this Series, nobody has, but for his career and for this season he’s been pretty nails in situations “they” call Late/Close, High Leverage:
