Sir, this is a tobacconist.
As tolerant as I am, calling them “vinyls” is like nails on a chalkboard.
Vinyls it is.
Yeah, well maybe I’ll just come over there and rattle your cage.
Am I allowed to call cassettes “tapes”?
And no, I’m not talking about 8-tracks
I’ll allow it.
So, “shellacs” is a no go then?
“78s”
4-Track
Back to the subject of the thread, just ordered a daiquiri. Bartender is super happy (his favorite drink) and now I may have to teach how to make a Greta Garbo.
Laquers?
Laquer down, smack’em yak’em
So merge the two most recent subjects…
They put on a great show, their first? album (can I call it an album?) Dirt Track Date is still in the rotation 30 years later
Dirt Track Date was like their fourth album, but it’s a good one.
Flyte: “You’re in charge of the rejects?”
Lamb: “The don’t like being called that.”
Flyte: “So what do you call them?”
Lamb: “The rejects.”
Cool, guess I forgot their earlier EPs. I had that one on vinyl
Their earlier albums weren’t EPs. I have Ditch Diggin’, the one before Dirt Track Date, on vinyl, and a couple of later ones.
Dirt Track Date is one of my all-time favorites
