Quietly the tide is turning in favor of the Ukrainians. The last ferry supplying occupied Crimea has been destroyed. Ukraine’s new Defense Minister Fedorov has a stated goal of 50,000 Russian KIA/month. He says they are at 35,000 and increasing. Russians don’t retrieve many wounded, so a disproportionate number of total causalities are KIA.
Ukraine has started repatriating some land and may actually be pushing Russia back through Pokrovsk.
The Russian tradition of not giving a shit about their soldiers lives on.
They’re now touting it as a virtue.
When you don’t have many virtues you have to take what you can get.
Trump ought to take notice, but I’m sure he thinks this doesn’t apply to him.
Not sure if I ever shared this here or not. Fedorov was a serious, mission focused guy. I am not surprised he made the jump from DIAA to Defense. I suspect he’ll be as effective there as he was running tech for the country.
