Texans 2025

You probably gave up fewer touchdowns too.

They posted a “who is this QB” stat question on Sunday night’s broadcast, and the QB had something like 3900 yards passing, 36 TDs, 0 INTs, and a 110+ QB rating. And one of the guys immediately said “the composite of all QBs that played against the Jets this year”. And he was right.

Garrett Wilson was the Jets’ leading receiver with 395 yards. He didn’t catch a pass after week 6.

It’s hard to see how they wouldn’t have been better just sticking with Fields. The could not possibly have been worse.

Everybody seems to think that they’re just one revelation away from turning the corner with Fields. They aren’t. He’s just not a good QB.

I’m not arguing that he’s a good quarterback, I’m arguing that he’s better than anyone else on the roster. And the (dreadful) numbers seem to back that up.

Anyway, the quarterback situation is obviously not the only serious problem they have. You know it’s bad when quarterbacks and their agents are trying to figure out whether they have enough of a chance of being drafted by the Jets at #2 that they would be better off staying in school for another year.

And you hate to see a shambles of a franchise under the ownership of such an outstanding individual as Woody Johnson.

Saw this on the 'net, so I’m sure it’s true:

Jets are the first team to record 0 picks in a season. The NFL started counting interceptions as a stat in 1932, the jet airplane was invented in 1939. So the Jets managed a mark of futility so embarassing that it pre-dates their mascot.

John Harbaugh out in Baltimore.

Wow.

Quite an impressive run.

He’ll have a new job tomorrow if he wants it. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team fire a coach they don’t necessary want to in order to hire him

He should go to the Raiders just to be in the same division with Jim.

ETA: but I like him so I hope he doesn’t go there.

This is what I want

Great game between Carolina and the Rams.

Panthers blocked a punt with 4 something left in the 4th and converted with a TD pass to take a 4 point lead.

Then Strafford led a freaking surgical drive to give the Rams a 3 point lead.

Carolina could not get out of the blocks on their drive and turned it over on downs (dropped pass on 4th and 10).

Another great football game.

That catch for the final TD was pretty damn good.

The Bears are putting on a wiener stomping clinic.

NFL should have a “softest schedule bowl” and the Pats and Bears could face off

Golden came to play tonight. Nice to see him excel.

Da Bears!

Bears were down 21-3 at the half, 21-6 entering the 4th, and end up winning 31-27.
