The new wrinkle of the tight ending running a circular root to get a direct snap for the tush push is a hilariously bad innovation. It’s a play that requires impeccable timing so why not have it hinge on a large man who is unaccustomed to receiving snaps at all, much less immediately before plowing into the line.
