I will be at game with my wife tonight. Pumped about lineup card including Wesneski on th bump. We decided to come here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it will be my first time to attend a ST game since The last game ever played (actually it was rained out) at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee, Florida.

I mentioned in another thread that my wife was n the business and has some friends from there. This is absolutely a thing. Many actually long for a “normal” partner but are 1) scared of grifters and 2) never really approached so their partners come from that community with predictable results.

I splurged and got great seats behind HP.
My notes:
Wesneski looked great and up to 95mph. Great sweeper/curve and great command.
King up to 93.
Whitley up to 98. He struggled a bit with command of curve.
Umpire was terrible and squeezing all pitchers. Bc of that very surprised that both teams didn’t score more runs.
Cam Smith is massive. If he is 6-3 then there is no way Dezenzo is 6-5. They look same height to me with Smith having another 10-15 lbs on Dezenzo easy. Anyhow, Smith looks very controlled and relaxed at the plate and seems to have a great idea of the strikezone which IMO is a good sign for him moving forward.
Heading out now for one more game today before heading home tomorrow.

I’m not up to date. Is Wesneski slated to replace Verlander in the rotation, or just one option? Who are the other options?
