Three straight hits with two outs. Dare I say…boom goes the dynamite!
I was thinking to myself that Munoz could throw 37 of those first few sliders in a row and would strike out 80% of Astros hitters and walk the rest on 3-2 counts
Those hits by Altuve and Varsho were huge.
Many runs were scored with 2 outs
If Altuve didn’t stand seven feet off the plate he wouldn’t have to bat with a light pole but I guess you can’t argue with success.
Criminally bad management erased by the most improbable comeback in quite a long while.
Astros Baseball, who says it’s only a game?
I thought the Astros were done when Altuve swung at a slider off the plate and at his shoes to fall into an 0-2 hole against Munoz. I never expected him to use his best tennis drop shot for a single to shallow right field on a similar slider. Then, Varsho came through with a great piece of hitting to set the stage for Walker.
Nobody expects the Altuve swing position
What the hell did you chucklefucks do when I left?!?!
I went to sleep after t10. Always a good feeling to wake up to a good GZ.
Brought you a victory. We don’t want money and we don’t want medals. We’d rather you just say “thank you”.
According to Statmuse, Mariners have a 20-2 record when scoring 7 or more runs this year. They have done this five times against the Astros and had won the previous four. Weird thing is, when I went to look this up after their seventh run scored (wondering how often their anemic offense have done this), the answer I got from the Duck browser I used was “20-2”, even though the link it provided to Statmuse listed only 21 games and Yordan had just made the first out when I went back to Gameday.
We’re living in a simulation
