Rays @ Astros, August 2, 2024

May have been a called shake off. That’s not uncommon ahead of throwing a change up.

Jake with a sac fly…ties it up.

It’s a one time vaccine, but it’s two shots, 4-6 months apart.

Between yardwork, laundry and rum+cigar, I’m not sure what you and @Col.SphinxDrummond did wrong karmically to get stuck with the first 2

End of four…Rays 2, HH’s cigar 2

gotcha, couldn’t remember if it was like tetanus and needed a booster every X years

I’d considered that, but the overarching point is he’s jumped right in to throwing the change.

No booster needed, that I’m aware of. And tetanus shots hurt like a motherfucker. Of all the vaccines I have to regularly get, from polio to yellow fever, it’s the only one I dread.

I don’t know how often he’s been throwing it, but he’s got a good one. It’s a weapon.

I had a tetanus shot or booster or whatever it was within the last few months and I don’t remember it being any worse than anything else.

My arm hurts for a week. Feels like taking a 99 mph fastball square.

Thank you for your ‘sacrifice’.

Halfway…2-2

I tend to try to get as many at once as I can. Sometimes my arm is a little sore for a couple of days, but it’s nothing I can’t just decide not to notice.

Yeah, sore arm isn’t too bad. I’ve read that the shingles vax runs you down, but so far, so good.
