Maldy has really been on a tear. My crusade is Mancini, not Vazquez. I was happy with Castro before he got hurt.

I refuse to believe Yuli is in the top 100 in any offensive category.

In July, Maldonado hit .254/.315/.537/.852. In August, he’s at 375 .421 .625 1.046 (before today’s blast).

Nobody has been saying Maldonado shouldn’t be the primary catcher. Just that Vazquez should be starting more than two games a week, if for no other reason than to keep Machete fresh for October.
