That was the worst lineup the Astros have run out that I can remember over the last ten years. Itā€™s pretty amazing that they come away with a win.

Not very impressed with Abreu so far. Meanwhile, Gurriel is hitting .306 for Florida.

I do think abreu will heat up eventually, but there is no way he should be batting cleanup right now. 6 or 7th maybe. But heā€™s killing the offense in the middle of the order.

Iā€™m with you. Itā€™s just tough seeing him in another jersey. I hope he does well too. In the meantime letā€™s hope Abreu gets it going.

Agree Jim. And as much as Abreu is struggling right now, Yuli was slightly worse at this same time last year. On April 30, 2022 Yuli was only hitting .224 with 4 RBIā€™s.

Abreu is really pressing right now. I think the home run drought is on his mind. He also has to know how beloved Yuli was here. Wouldnā€™t be surprised that with every passing subpar game, that adds to the pressure as well. Hopefully we get Brantley back in about 10 days and Altuve in about 3-4 weeks. There will be much less pressure on him then and hopefully heā€™ll turn it around.

Abreu hit a ball 400 feet at over 100 mph off the bat. It was to dead centerfield and caught but still encouraging.
