Padres @ Astros, April 19, 2025

Surely you called that.

If I’m running around claiming to call a home run from that guy you can take me straight to the looney bin.

Walker is a good hitter who is off to a slow start.

Yainer grounds out 4-3 to end the sixth

But it’s a new ballgame. 2-2

He’s off to a slow start, that’s for sure. You’ll have to excuse a little first baseman ptsd.

Tirso Ornelas makes his Major League debut, pinch hitting for Connor Joe…flies to shallow LF

I understand having first basemen PTSD after the Jose Abreu experience. Walker didn’t have the benefit of Spring Training after hurting his oblique, so he’s been behind in terms of timing to start this season.

Another 1-2-3 inning from Scott

At the Stretch…2-2

Caratini with a lead off walk

Jake lines out hard to RF

Cam with a single to RCF, Caratini to 2B

Two on, one out for Altuve…

Altuve flies out F8 on the first pitch

I dropped Walker from my fantasy team, so he should start producing.

Paredes works the count full…drops a single into CF as Caratini scores to give the Astros the lead, Smith to 3B

On the corners for Yordan…

Yordan…takes a 1-1 meatball…fouls a 1-2 meatball…flies out F7

But the Astros take the lead 3-2. To the 8th

Abreu in. He’ll face 2-3-4. Critical inning…

Leadoff walk to Arraez. Grrrr
