Why wasn’t Siri in Dusty?
This is fucking idiotic. Siri isn’t a superstar outfielder.
This was just Yordan making a dumb choice.
Bottom 8
Maton pitching
Walsh - ball high, 6 (playing behind 2nd) - 3. 1 out.
Stassi - flies out to McCormick on the warning track. 2 outs.
Marsh - strike, fouls down 3rd base side, hit on knee by breaking ball. One on.
Fletcher - ball, takes strike down middle, fouls FB back, triples past diving Alvarez on a nose level pitch. Marsh scores.
3-1, man on third, 2 outs. Ohtani at the plate. Trout on deck.
Neris in to pitch
Ohtani - FB outside, FB outside, fouls FB back, fouls change up back (2-2), flies out to right, a few steps in front of warning track.
3-1 Houston.
That crowd sure cried yard
Someone needs to reach so Brantley can hit his 4th opening day HR for the good guys.
What’s the reason for Yordan in LF instead of Chas or Siri in that game situation? Defensive replacements for him with late leads were the regular move last season. I’m not bitching after the fact, I’m just wondering why.
And yes, it was a dumbass decision to not keep the ball in front of him.
He got damn close earlier. Who was it…Bagwell, somebody and Brantley all have 3 in a row?
Yordan isn’t some schlub left fielder overall. No reason to pull him for another OF.
Springer
So did most.

4-6-3, FUCK YEAH!
That’s a winner!
