NCAA Football 2025

I noticed that several times. Throwing sidearmed, off his back foot, unbalanced. Really poor mechanics from a guy who should know better.

Of course Ewers never did learn that he didn’t need to float every pass. So remains to be seen

Red zone is critical. Having first and goal is like having a runner on 3B and no outs. You have to get something out of that.

When he set his feet and was throwing farther downfield, it looked so pretty. Even on that one deep ball he threw into double coverage

Can we find a happy medium?

FSU takes down Bama

Texas Tech, for the first time in years, is treating their opening day tomato can like a tomato can. Red Raiders lead Arkansas Pine Bluff 47-0 at the half.

Storms are coming in, because it’s Lubbock, so the stadium has emptied until the tornadoes pass.

Tarleton State won yesterday, so there’s that.

Man, Arizona State is looking roooooough against NAU. Up 14-3 but taking tons of sacks and penalties. This game is ugly.

Texas Tech and Arkansas Pine Bluff played 8:00 quarters in the second half. Presumably it was because of weather, travel schedules, and the lopsided score, but I didn’t know that was an option.

Anyway, Tech wins 67-7.

You hate to see it.
Poor tempe normal school.

I was on a church league basketball team when I was a kid and we went around kicking the shit out of people so bad that they eventually kept the clock running while we shot free throws. Not kidding.

Probably a good call…

I believe it. I hated ā€œrun ruleā€ games back in the Memorial Ashford Little League days, all us kids wanted to play more ball. One time in pitching machine league we ended the game in like the 3rd inning, and the coaches huddled, then went over to the bleachers and talked to the parents, then came back and told 5 or so of us to swap jerseys with kids from the other team and we just kept on playing.

We did something similar sometimes. Or we’d start another game. The point was to play, not give daddy something to post on social media about how he’s coached up the most dominant team in Super Duper Superior League Travel Ball.

Frogs leading comfortably against North Carolina 48-14 in the fourth quarter.

I’m looking forward to Belichick’s girlfriend’s spin.

Horns not exactly looking like a well-oiled machine so far

eta: ā€œso farā€ didn’t last too long

Really wish we had some of these takeaways last week

The Iowa v Iowa State o/u is 43, I’m not sure what kind of lunatic would have taken the over…they might make it if it goes into triple+ OT
