I’m not sure this is fixable.

Tonights lineup featured, 3 guys who are just flat out not major league players, 3 guys who are major league players but below average major league batters, 2 guys having horrible seasons and Altuve

Yeah, I’ve been wondering if the Astros shouldn’t be sellers here. Crane would never allow it, at least he’s never been a deadline seller since the team has been good, but I’m not sure how this gets better before it gets a lot worse.

If they know Yordan and Paredes aren’t going to be back this year they should sell. Who knows, maybe they can get a team to throw in an x-ray machine in return.

The players would riot. And y’know, it would actually be entertaining to watch them J6 the front office. At least a lot more entertaining than watching them play baseball this past week.

How close was the Melton foul ball to being a home run?

About 80 feet. It was never close.

Which coincidentally was the same distance strike three to Dubon was to the plate.

He should have been. It’s ridiculous how far out of position Astros outfielders regularly play. That should have been a single and runners at 1B and 2B. In no sane universe does a run score there.

Would they, though? I’m not trying to be devious, I really don’t know.

Weno, la Grasa no ta equivocao.

Ok. My vision isn’t the best on those lights in the ballpark are so effing bright. That doesn’t help at my age.

Tough couple games to come into town for but is what it is. I expected the offense sustained, but was hoping Valdez would bring a win home regardless. He was close, but unfortunately, you have to pitch perfect anymore to win.

At least Trammell left my son and I BP passes today. That was a really cool experience. My son got his legit Trammel jersey autographed obviously and got to shake Yordan’s hand. Don’t worry guys, I told my son not to squeeze too hard lol. Then I was fortunate enough to get Altuve to sign my jersey. Out of all the players during batting practice Altuve signed more than anybody. What a great guy.

Jose was signing autographs at Dodger stadium, even for some Dodgers fans. He’s a better man than I, that’s for sure.
