I’m shocked, shocked I tell you, that Chas couldn’t throw out Bell with his noodle arm
Chas can’t throw out someone from deep 2nd base.
Was listening on radio. Ford never once sounded like there was any chance of a play at the plate.
That throw from just behind 2B bounced between 2B and the mound. It wasn’t even 90 ft in the air.
With McCormick, there wasn’t. Any other Major League player he’s out by 30 ft.
Cam and Dubon have pretty decent arms, nobody else they put out there could throw me out
Well, today’s early lead lasted two whole outs.
This begs the question…why has there been zero update on Jake Meyers? Saw a list with 8 different injured players on it, but he wasn’t.
Gusto at least limited the damage after the two singles.
Middle of two…1-1
Well, outside of the Arizona games he’s batting .200. But I guess you never know when he might catch fire again so let’s put him in places where he can inflict maximum damage.
Altuve! 4-1 Astros.
Does Yainer Diaz ever not offer at the first pitch?
This is what I’m saying. Ford knows.
Outside of the 47 games the Astros have lost, they are undefeated!
In July (prior to today), Walker is 28/85 (.329) with 18 RBI. Since the ASB (after the two big series in COL and LAD), he’s 14/45 (.311) with 8 RBIs.
He’s still been a disappointing signing; I don’t think there’s any way of getting around that.
Sweet Jeebus, Gusto is third on the team in IP?!?!
How are we above .500?
Well, there’s a new way for this idiot to piss me off.
WTF, Christian? Stopped running for a strike em out throw em out.
Good baserunning never takes a day off.
It’s been one step forward, and then a sudden stop.
