I wonder how they measure that. If it’s total elapsed time (from when? Contact? First stride outside the box?), then lefties definitely have a substantial advantage. But maybe they have a way of getting instantaneous readings while a guy is running down the line. In that case righties have an extra stride or two and might actually top out faster even their elapsed time is longer.
I believe elapsed time is from contact, but that is different than measuring sprint speed, which is a Statcast reading of peak speed.

Yep. If you look at the replay, you can see Yordan was slow to get out of the batters box and chugged his way up to a fast speed as he neared 1B.
