There are many more things that determine whether a player is a good fielder, than just errors.
Whitcomb just looks bad and doesnāt make plays.
We have been spoiled with Bregman, but this is extremely low end.

Of course. But baseball reference tracks things like games and errors; it does not provide fielding videos.
I posted in response to a question of whether Kessinger could play 3B. Games played shows some combination of (a) the orgās expectation that a player can adequately man the position, and (b) the orgās patience as he begins to show that he canāt. I just posted the numbers.
