I know the Astros want to manage Blanco’s innings, but how many more starts can they give Verlander when he’s pitching like he did tonight and on Monday?
They will be five games ahead of Seattle in the loss column after tonight.

If the Astros weren’t trying to manage Blanco’s innings, they could go to a five-man rotation with Blanco replacing JV. But, that’s not going to happen with a long stretch of consecutive games after tomorrow’s day off.
