Iām bummed, not for him but for my personal bowl game viewing, that Maalik Murphy is transferring (again). Thatās one of the non-playoff games I was looking forward to.
Belichickās style will be a hit with todayās college player, whoās a free agent every year, and with high school parents wanting to put their kids on a good path.

True, but on the other hand, heās got umpteen ProBowlers/AllPros/and HOFās who can unofficially help recruit via twitter and phone. His name alone will get him a foot in the door with just about any prospect with NFL dreams. Itās funny that his style, as it was in NE, is about 100% opposite of Mackās wrt being a āparental figureā. Iām sure heās mellowed out, though.
Iād imagine he can bring in some pretty high quality coordinator/positional coaching talent as well, which would be another huge selling point.
Yeah, didnāt a large part of the negotiation with NC revolve around having a player acquisition/retention infrastructure in place so he wouldnāt have to deal with that aspect of college football? I havenāt read the story about the hire, but wasnāt he also trying to set his son up as his successor?
