Why would you be surprised? Heās lost four straight to Michigan and losing to this yearās Michigan team when his team is fighting for a playoff spot is a fireable offense.
While true, the talent discrepancy between the two teams is so great, the game should never have come down to the Ohio State kicker.
I assume theyāre in, and itās hard to fire a coach who makes the playoff.
Ohio State expects to make the 12-team playoff regardless of who is their coach. Itās not hard for me to envision them firing a coach who canāt beat their arch rival even when he has a significant talent advantage. If he couldnāt beat Michigan this year, when will he?
Hell they may have an interim coach for the playoff.
