College football 2024

You have to have at least two more possessions. You have two timeouts.

Youā€™ve got to be fucking kidding me. 3rd and 4, huh?

I have a hard time seeing Ewers as the answer going forward.

When heā€™s hot heā€™s hot, when heā€™s not heā€™s not.

I hope he invested his NIL money well.

This game was decided on the couple possessions before where the Texasā€™ offense couldnā€™t convert on fourth down. The Texasā€™ defense played their ass off tonight.

Heā€™ll make millions as a longtime backup QB in the NFL

True. Just assumed they would use the timeouts to get the stop rather than wait for the next drive. Didnā€™t end up mattering though.

Itā€™s not that they got the 1D, itā€™s how they did it

Ewers has had a serious case of happy feet after returning from the strained oblique last week. That said, it doesnā€™t matter who starts at QB if the Texasā€™ offensive line gets whipped like they did tonight and their wide receivers donā€™t get separation.

I understand. Beck should not have been able to run for that first down.

I donā€™t think he has the arm. He may get a year or two, but heā€™s the walking definition of ā€œfungible commodityā€.

What the fuck is Georgia thinking?

I think heā€™s definitely still hurt.

He previously has thrown a pretty nice deep ball, but last week and today everything is floating like crazy or just insanely underthrown.

Leaving him in when you need to move quickly down the field is a death sentenceā€¦ As seen here.

Smart is kind of an idiot. It Texas wasnā€™t actively shitting itself on just about every offensive play, his dumbass decisions would be costing them the lead.

Then thatā€™s on Sark. An injured Ewers isnā€™t good enough to get the job done against good teams. His lack of mobility means that he has to get the job done with his arm.

Not only that, heā€™s throwing off his back foot a lot the last two weeks.

Davis Mills has been in the league for how long now?

Too long.

Heā€™s not exactly Fran Tarkenton back there.
