College football 2024

Maybe Ok State? The reality is that Tech has beaten Texas five times this century and hasn’t won consecutive games against Texas since 97-98. They have never beaten Texas three or more times in a row.

Since running off ten in a row from 2000-09 against Ok State the Cowboys have gone 9-5 against Texas with a four-game win streak.

How old is Gundy these days?

He’s a man.

He’s 57.

“Great Value SEC team.”

Hilarious.

Evaluating QBs is a fool’s errand. That said, while I’m not going to question the conclusion that he’s the best prospect, I do find it odd to go crazy over one game against UTSA.

The Cal twitter meme factory has been going off on FSU this week. It’s awesome.

There must have been new developments that I have missed.

As you know, Cal is in the ACC now. The social/political/whatever culture of Cali (esp Berkeley) v Florida is juuuust a bit different, and Cal is trolling the shit out of them.

Cal is also 3-0 so I say let them have their fun

Thanks. I actually missed that. (Although now that you point it out, I kind of remember hearing it, but I obviously forgot).

I’ve had to remind myself of several of the realignments every weekend so far.

What does the A in ACC stand for again?

“All”.

Realignment has made all these conferences and their names a bit silly.

I’m hoping for massive geographical realignment in the next decade. I also doubt it will ever happen.

We could be headed towards a day in the distant future where the SEC and B1G gobble up all the schools they would want and then officially join together to create an NFL college. If that happens with say 40-50 schools then there could be some regional alignment again but under a national umbrella. I don’t think we are very close to that but the 2 big conferences will eventually break away like the Premier League did
