What a brutal final 33 seconds for Penn State. Allar can’t make that late throw across the middle, and they call a defense leaving one Notre Dame wide receiver uncovered and having a defensive back playing 13 yards off another on third and five with Notre Dame around the Penn State 35-yard-line. That allowed Notre Dame to get nine or ten yards and make the game-winning kick much easier.
The defender fell down. They did not leave him open.

I’m in a weird CFB place.
For decades I’ve been able to dislike whoever the ND coach was without much effort.
But I like the current one.

He’s a good coach but I still don’t like Notre Dame.
QBs throwing terrible picks mainly, often throws made in situations where a throw should have never been made. Two were saved by questionable PI calls.

A defender fell down on Notre Dame’s long touchdown by Greathouse to tie the game at 24.
I’d have to watch it again, but I don’t believe a Penn State defender fell down on the third down play with 23 seconds remaining in the game where Riley Leonard rolled to his left and completed a short pass for 11 yards to take Notre Dame from the Penn State 36 to the Penn State 25.
I thought that was a fantastic game last night. (Having no dogs in the fight always helps)
