I had no idea Michigan’s offense was this mediocre. Their defense was worn out halfway through the 2Q

Michigan lost J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum to the draft along with their offensive line. They weren’t exactly an explosive offense with them last year, either.

Michigan wants to pound opponents into submission with the run and use play action off of it. They can’t do that against a team as talented as Texas.

It’s pretty crazy that going on the road to play the national champions in a legendary environment in front of 100,000 people isn’t particularly close to the toughest game on the schedule.

It’s hard to gauge how good Michigan is, but I suspect they’re pretty good, and I suspect these Longhorn boys aren’t kidding around about being good themselves.

Texas versus Georgia in Austin will be very interesting.
