Drew Allard says he is going back to PSU next year but I bet his representatives are going to get some calls asking him to reconsider that. He looked like the best QB I have seen during bowl season / playoffs.
Relatedly, BON reports that there is a supposed $6M offer to Ewers to enter the transfer portal instead of going into the draft.

He put some balls in tight places, but he also badly missed some wide-open guys. I agree that he’s probably had the best performance we’ve seen so far, but it’s a low bar.

QB evaluations/projections are the hardest evaluations in sports, IMO. Cam Ward looked damn good for one half is all I’d point out.

Great question. A return was unlikely anyway from that field position, so there’s no excuse for not guarding against the fake.
