True. But this is an experienced team.

Whew. But that was fucking ugly at the end.

They have a lot of great experience but they also have 5 new guys in their 9 to 10 man rotation.

Big game at 5 vs Tennessee, UH better play better or they’ll get clobbered. In a year with a whole bunch of great looking freshmen, Vols’ Nate Ament is up there with the best, and Gillespie is a great senior PG. They’ve also got about 6 guys in their rotation 6’8" to 6’11", and size is an issue with the Coogs, depth-wise.

Some good quotes from Sampson about yesterday in here:

God, Houston gets some stupid fouls. They’re going to pick up enough legit fouls with the aggressive D they play, they can’t afford the stupid ones Tugler and Sharpe just picked up.

Tugler is a threat to foul out with 5+ minutes to go in every game

St Johns takes down Baylor. That restaurant table fucking asshole can sure coach a basketball team.

23 for Tennessee is quite a load.

Tennessee’s size is why this game is close

The Coogs are gonna lose if they don’t start hitting some buckets.

I hate to talk shit about him, because he’s awesome, but it’s pretty apparent that Sampson cannot draw up a proper halfcourt offense. He needs a new offensive coordinator, like all other Houston teams.

Cenac is very skilled and gifted but he still hasn’t caught up to the flow of the college game. Flemings however, has made the adjustment.

Well, this is just not last year’s Cougars. Still a very good team, and they may get there, but they’re just not now. Hopefully they mature and learn from these types of games.

Not sure I like the 3 games in 3 days scheduling of this “tournament”. Don’t know anything about Notre Dame other than UH needs to kick their ass.

Wish, granted. Onward and upward.

Tennessee vs Kansas is a fun game

After watching Gonzaga’s first two games in this Players Era tournament, I would have been tempted to proclaim them to be a candidate for an undefeated season. And now Michigan is ahead of them 38-19.

Michigan is the best team in this tournament, maybe the best team in the country

Iowa State deserved a shot

Wow: 24-point lead at the half.
