I know Dubie is a great fielder, like I know that, but his OOA is insane this year. Baseball savant has him rated 98th percentile defensively

Everything about this seems like a bad idea to me, but Buster Posey is going into the Hall of Fame and I am not. Of course, āPresident of Baseball Operations Buster Poseyā also seems like a bad idea to me.

Angels hire Kurt Suzuki as manager. Early rumors said the Angels job was Pujolsās if he wanted it, and it sounds like he didnāt want it as he has been talking to other teams. Torii Hunter was also reportedly in the mix.
Havenāt seen any updates on Vitello.
Scott Servais is also on a few teamsā shortlists, for some reason.
I feel like I read the other day that they were coming in way under his contract demands. Maybe they thought he owed them a discount

I can see why he might expect a discount having paid Pujols a quarter billion dollars for a total of 12.5 WAR. I can also see why Pujols laughed in his face and started shopping for better offers.
(To be clear, I find the petty misfortunes of all our division-mates extremely funny)
