Still, end of August and you have the same number of walks as homers? That seems like it would be pretty hard to do.
Yainer has done that in three of his four seasons. His first year, the one that got us charged up about him, he had 23 home runs and walked only 11 times. We got excited about his .538 SLG, not his walk prowess.
Yainerās regression is one of the biggest misfires of the past 2 seasons.

The Astros are 29-36 with Yainer in the lineup this season and 36-30 when heās not. Not saying itās somehow all his fault but I do know Iāve been tuning out during his ABās for a couple seasons now.
